Safe4I

SAFE4I is a national research project in Germany, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, BMBF).

The overall goal of SAFE4I is to accelerate the development of functionally safe software. This includes all software parts needed to implement solutions for Industry 4.0 applications.

The development of the functional software is separated from the development of the software that implements safety mechanisms. This separation of concerns significantly reduces development effort.

In the course of SAFE4I, ScopeSET implements graphical editors to visualize the functional software and to add safety mechanisms.
